I think it is President Ronald Reagan who has famously said, “Trust, but verify!”

I am saying, “Have Faith, but get proof too!”

(Oh, and I am glad to see that you took the “red pill" and exercised your free will to choose!  You will thank yourself for doing this for the rest of your life!)

Wouldn’t you absolutely love some proof of the existence of the Divine? Of knowing, for a fact, and without a doubt that God does exist. And that, once and for all - He is answering your prayers! I know that I would absolutely love that. And my wanting that “proof” is, in fact, what led me to doing the research that I have done over the last few years - the study of some hard scientific data and research that exists out there, and also some inner Spiritual research!

Before we really start talking about what this is all about, I would like to pose a question to you. It is as follows:

Are you an Atheist, an Agnostic, a Believer, or a member of the Clergy, or are you a Layman, or a Scientist?

Your answer to the question above is moot, as far as I am concerned. I only asked it to get you to think about where you are on the Spectrum of Belief.

Regardless of whether you believe in God’s existence or not; where you are on the Spectrum of Belief - at one extreme or the other or somewhere in between - I know one thing to be absolutely true - that you want to believe. The reason that I know that you want to believe is that by believing, life does become easier. Or, at the very least, we think that life should get easier if we believe in God, don’t we? Well, why would it get easier? Because we can ask for God’s help, when we find that we are in need of it, couldn’t we? And if we do believe in God, and ask for His help, we would also believe that He would, as a matter of fact, come to our aid (because, logically, if He does exist, then how could he ignore our prayers for His help?).

Before I go any further, I would like to ask you a few more questions, and this time, they really do matter to me, as opposed to just being of importance to you. They are as following:

Are you completely satisfied with the money that you have or are making? Are you totally happy with the relationship that you are in? Are you at peak health? Are you (and others) crazy about the body that you have, and quite frankly, are the others crazy about the body that they have also? Are you living a life in which you don’t even know what stress is, forget actually having it in your life? Are you at peace all the time? Are you really, really, really happy all the time (i.e. are you in bliss)?

Do you know that you are meant to have all of the above? You will get a glimpse of this truth, and it is the truth if you contemplate how you feel about your child or children’s welfare or well-being. Of course, that can only happen if you actually have children. If you don’t have any children of your own, and if you have parents (well, we all have to have parents, don’t we?), and if possible, ask them how they feel about you. When I request you to ask them what or how they feel about you, or what or how you feel about your children - I am asking what is it that you want for them.

Do you want your children to be happy, healthy, in great relationships, and living an abundant and stress-free life of love, peace and joy? Most people, if not all, would say, of course, YES! And if you, as a parent of your children, or your parents had any control over it - they would ensure that you did, in fact, have all of the above. Wouldn’t you (or wouldn’t they)? You know that to be true, don’t you? Even though, sometimes, as children, we all have been very weary about your parents’ concerns for us. Sometimes it feels as if they neither want our happiness nor our freedom to choose for ourselves. Although it does seem that way, sometimes, I can assure you that they are only looking out for our best interests. It’s just that they have a funny way of showing it. They really do love and care for us. Always!

Well, then somebody or something - does not matter what you call it - God, Source, Spirit, Supreme Consciousness, Divine Energy, the Universe - created us - and that creator would have to feel the same way as parents feel for their children! And it surely does not matter which spiritual tradition or religion you subscribe to, and quite frankly, it does not even matter if you subscribe to none at all! And Source surely does feel the same way about us as we feel about our children, regardless of whether or not we believe in the existence of Source! Our kids would not have to believe that we exist for us to exist, right? If we, as parents, had not existed, they, as our children, also would not have existed! Their own existence is proof positive of our existence!

If your answer to all or any of the question(s) that I asked three paragraphs ago is “YES” - then great, find out how to make things even better (did not think it was possible, huh?), because things can ALWAYS be better, believe it or not!

I invite you to find out what Science - modern, empirical, secular Science - is saying about Religion and/or Spirituality (Religion/Spirituality regardless of denomination) and about the existence of God (who He/She/It really is), and of course, what that means to you in every aspect of your life - financially, physically, relationally, emotionally and spiritually - and in any other way imaginable!

My soon-to-be-released book talks about how we - any one of us - can use this new-found Scientific knowledge and apply it in a practical, step-by-step scientific manner to first, create and then to lead the life of our dreams - the life that we were meant to lead! (In all fairness, this knowledge is not at all “new”- the Vedas from the Hindu culture have talked about these principles thousands of years ago.)  Also, in all honesty, I am really not too crazy about using the ol’ “step-by-step” phrase - it just sounds too much like an infomercial - but really in this case it really is true - if you take the steps mentioned in my book, in a methodical and “scientific” manner, they produce measurable results! I call this process applying Spirituality scientifically, and practicing Science religiously!

And the reason I can be so certain that this process works is that I have used it all my life (without REALLY knowing that I was using it) and I know, with 100% certainty, that it works because of my first-hand experience! I have gone from being a believer to being an agnostic, and then to being a complete atheist, and then back to being a believer (and this time, with science backing my beliefs, a devout believer) - and throughout my “phases” of “Belief” this process has worked flawlessly.

It did not stop working when I was not sure of God’s existence, or when I was sure that He did not exist. It simply works! And now, I use it deliberately and consciously - to create my dream life! My “faith,” if you will, in knowing that this process will work came from scientific research and findings. It did not just come automatically.

I totally understand what atheist, agnostics and/or scientists and even some believers; technically not agnostics; who may be on the cusp of becoming “doubters” mean when they say “Show me some proof, or at the very least, some evidence of the existence of God, and then we will believe.” (I am really tempted to say “we” instead of “they,” because not long ago, I was one of them.) They find it difficult, if not impossible to have “blind” faith - in having trust in something that has not been proven, or at least proven “Scientifically”. They find it difficult to have faith because some, or a lot of things have not gone right in their lives despite their having prayed with all their might for those things. They also see all the things that go wrong in the world and they cannot see how God, if He really existed, would allow all of these things to happen. So, their conclusion is that God does not exist.

There is nothing wrong with that belief, logically. That’s their logical and rational mind telling them that they need to only believe in something that they can experience or perceive by their five physical senses (i.e. with their senses of touch, taste, smell, sound & sight). And that if something bad happened or happens, then that must prove, without a doubt, that God does not exist or rather, cannot exist!

That is what Science and Mathematics tell them - that something can only be real if it can be proven to exist. Even more specifically, that thing would have to be perceived to exist by one or more of the five physical senses, and if it can be replicated or recreated (say, in a lab or in a controlled environment) at will, or that it has to be logical. And if it cannot be proven, it simply cannot exist, or the new idea that is being posited is simply false. And that things have to occur in a sequence - i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4. They HAVE to. So, first it is the digit 1 and then the digit 2. 2 comes AFTER 1 and not the other way around, or wherever it may decide to pop into the numerical series. And that time moves only in one direction, i.e., from the past to the present, and then onwards to the future. And ultimately, “stuff” makes up all the stuff that we see. That is, really small particles make up bigger particles, and then these bigger particles make up the physical things that we see.

The emphasis is on the physical (as all Materialists, almost always, do put the emphasis there). And I know that I sound lofty and sound like I have the classic “holier than thou” attitude when I say “those” Materialists but not too long ago, I was one of them - at least, when I was going through that “phase” (as I mentioned before). So, I have sympathy, in the true sense of the word, for them; I do really understand them. And using the very clichéd phrase - “If I can do it, so can they,” - I really do believe that there is hope for the Materialists. Really!

And what I am talking about being able to do is to start using the Field of Spirituality in a scientific manner to create the life that they want to lead. And literally, anyone can do it, and not only that, everybody should do it because it was designed to be used that way!

And just for a little while - just for the while you read or listen about this - I will beg and plead that you suspend your disbelief; suspend your prejudices - if you have any, and also suspend your belief of logic, because logic is overrated (sometimes).

Please do not get me wrong. I am not asking you to abandon your affinity and liking for logic and your use of it to discern what can and cannot happen, I am just asking you to, temporarily, suspend your reliance on it. Just suspend it. Temporarily. You can and should go back to it later on. And you should always trust it! (Well, other than when you are using the principles laid out in my book.) Logic is logic for a very good reason. For a lack of a better word, it is logical (as Spock would say in Star Trek); logic just makes sense! But again, in certain cases, it is overrated. “Overrated” simply means that it is given a whole lot more importance than it deserves, and I am talking in specific situations or circumstances like the ones that I will be discussing.
